Berean Community Fellowship
Berean Community Fellowship (BCF) is an interdenominational church affiliated with the Berean Fellowship of Churches. We are committed to living our life for the glory of Christ. Jesus Christ and His inspired word hold the highest authority in all of our doings. We strive to deal with sin biblically, conduct our gatherings biblically and we encourage you the same. We disciple, nurture and encourage one another in this life together. We do this through regular gatherings and consistent involvement in a home fellowship group.
VISION: To be an intentional and authentic body of believers seeking to have every part of our daily lives glorify God and be transformed by the extraordinary Gospel & teaching of Jesus, committed to making disciples of all people at every opportunity.

What to Expect (both of us and from you)
We span a range of ages and backgrounds. You'll see people dressed in all styles—from jeans to shorts to suits.
When you arrive, you will be welcomed at the door. Inside to the left, you will see a Welcome Center where you can get some coffee and a snack and read about the current events of the church.
We encourage relationship building by utilizing the first fifteen to twenty minutes of the service to get to know each other through conversation. We will flash the lights and start an intro music video to signal it’s time to find your seat.
Our services typically begin with a welcome from the Pastor followed by a time of singing, praise, and worship — led by our worship team — followed by prayer, scripture reading, and sermon.
Children are welcome to attend worship services, but we also offer childcare and learning opportunities.
Newborns-Preschoolers - After our time of singing and praise you may deliver your child to the back nursery where they will be engaged and cared for by at least two church member volunteers.

Children & Youth Ministry
We believe that what a child needs most is parents who take responsibility to spiritually raise and shepherd the child themselves. Our desire in Children and youth ministry is to instruct the children in the Gospel and the Christian life by partnering with the parents as much as possible.
MEET OUR LEADERSHIP
Kellis & Cali Booth
Kellis and Cali heard a call of God to leave their home and family in San Diego and start a new work in Adair County, Kentucky. Beginning in spring of 2010, along with two other couples they opened a cafe/coffee shop and began ministering to the community. In 2013 with more direction and clarity from God they shifted into a more focused effort to plant a church that could be multigenerational in its reach. Now, six years later they have established a body of believers committed to Bible teaching, and making disciples..they live in Adair county with their four daughters and have thoroughly enjoyed rural life. |
Kelvin Bailey
When I first attended Berean in January of 2015, after already developing friendships with several who were a part of the church, I was amazed (and somewhat comforted) to walk into a room full of friends. Since that day, that circle of friends has grown and become family. The main things about this church that have stood out for me are the commitment to look beyond church tradition to discern what Scripture says about how we "do" church and live our lives, and the challenge that comes from a church that has expectations of its members. I left Adair County in 1991, spent a decade and a half in Louisville, and came back in 2006. It took the better part of a decade to begin feeling like I was truly at home again. The five years I have spent at Berean Community Fellowship have, without a doubt, been an integral part of that process. These people listen, worship, serve, and take care of one another. |
Chris & Misti Konsavage.
We are Chris and Misti Konsavage. We have been married for 25 years and have our hearts full as the parents of 10 blessings, 5 boys and 5 girls. Seventeen years ago, we moved to Kentucky from Tampa, Florida. We now live on a small farm in Columbia, Kentucky with many farm animals, woods, and a creek. We homeschool, so every aspect of life is an adventure and learning experience. Our passion is teaching the next generation to love God with all that they are and to serve Him with every area of their lives. In our free time, we enjoy playing and working together as a family, having other people over for dinner or to worship in our living room, and we all really love chocolate! We have been attending Berean Community Fellowship for 2 ½ years but visited often prior to that when we lived in the neighboring county. The things we love most about BCF are: the family atmosphere (we are truly a church family, not just a Sunday morning social club), the challenge to not be complacent in our Christian walk but to show Jesus to our lost world, starting with our family and next-door neighbors, and the worship and solid teaching on Sunday mornings. BCF has been a great opportunity not only for personal growth but also as a place for our children to learn to serve and be part of ministry as well along side of us |
